Eric (b. 1990, San Francisco) believes there is no limit to what can be said and done with sculpture. His chief aim is to transcend the contemporary idea of  “artist” and expand boundaries of human potential through technical excellence, uncompromising honesty, and interdisciplinary collaborations.

Eric is a classically trained sculptor taking a non-traditional route. In 2013, he received a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications and worked in the dark arts of advertising (NYC) for 5 years as a mass communication strategist. He became frustrated with the lack of ethics in corporate America, and after a final attempt to create change from within, he quit and committed to his own art practice. In 2018, he moved to Italy to learn from today's most talented sculptors at the Florence Academy of Art. Subsequently, he returned to NYC and has been mentored by contemporary masters in pottery, stone carving, metal, and light design for upcoming projects. In his free-time, he's leading an ed tech start-up that he hopes will make the world slightly better.

E’s work is an amalgamation of critical questioning, social observations, and personal aha moments. His visual metaphors are communicated with presence of mind through both precious and humble materials sprinkled with some magic. He recognizes art's influence on culture, culture's influence on human behavior, and believes it's the artist's responsibility to not only reflect but also shape human nature, responsibly.
